Recruitment for the 2026 school year for the The Marines Baseball Academy (MBA), a baseball school run by Chiba Lotte Marines will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 7th.

MBA aims to teach the joy and skills of baseball to local children, and is taught by former professional baseball players, including former team members Soichi Fujita and Hisao Heiuchi, as well as technical coaches with teaching licenses. Currently, the school operates at five locations in the prefecture (Mihama, Narashino, Ichikawa-Kokufudai, Ichikawa-Myoden, and Kashiwa).

The school offers a total of 29 classes, including advanced classes that provide specialized and advanced technical instruction with the aim of "making students' dreams come true" and "nurturing future professional baseball players," as well as video lesson classes that allow students to receive instruction from the comfort of their own home using a smartphone or tablet.

Sho Narita, who will be taking over as the new technical coach alongside former team member Tomohisa Otani from 2026, said, "I'm Sho Narita, and I've been appointed as the technical coach of the The Marines Baseball Academy. MBA is an academy that not only helps you improve baseball skills, but also provides an environment where you can enjoy baseball to your heart's content and grow together with your teammates.
