On Tuesday pitcher pitcher Oto Hayasaka and Ryo Sakai visited the Ishigaki City Youth center fielder as part of Chiba Lotte Marines 's social contribution project, "MARINES LINKS." The two players deepened their interactions with 13 children and students by participating in a baseball experience, a Q&A session, and taking commemorative photos.

"I heard from the facility that the children's enthusiasm was several times higher than usual today, and I'm very happy that they enjoyed their time there. I want to continue working hard so that I can show the children I met today how I can perform well on ground."

"It is said that the number of baseball players is declining, so I would be happy if these activities could inspire even a little interest in baseball and encourage people to start baseball. I would like to continue working hard so that I can become pitcher that gives many children hope and dreams, and that they look up to."
