In the top of the ninth inning with a three-run lead, he entered the plate with the lead at the plate. He caught the fastball of the first pitch thrown by the opposing fifth pitcher, Sho Iwasaki pitcher, and the ball landed in the middle of the right field stands. With that decisive homer, he pulled the team's win closer.
