​Reyes of Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters hit a home run to tie the game.

Hokkaido Nippon-Ham offense was closer hit through five innings by opposing pitcher Jackson, putting them in a tough spot. However, in the top of the sixth inning, trailing by two runs, Shun Shun Mizutani got the team's first hit of the game with hit infield hit with one out, bringing up Reyes to bat with two outs and a runner on first. On full count, Reyes connected with cutter fastball, sending the ball just inside the right field stands for his 27th home run of the season, a two-run shot, his first in four games.

In the final stages of the season, with a series of must-win matches, Reyes' priceless goal brought the game back to a tie.
