On August 26, in the second round of the Farm regular season Chiba Lotte Marines vs. Yokohama DeNA held in Lotte Urawa Baseball Stadium, Chiba Lotte Marines lose 2-9.

Starting pitcher Seiun Akiyama pitcher gave up Tomoya Inoue 's sixth two-run homer in the first inning and gave up runs in the top of the second. In the top of the third, he closer retired all three batters in order for the first time in the game, but in the top of the fifth, he gave up two timely hits and was pulled midway through the inning. He pitched 4.1 innings, throwing 89 pitches, 9 hit, 3 Walk, 7 runs, leaving room for improvement.

Meanwhile, the lineup scored one run each with timely hits by Yuta Kaneda in the bottom of the second and Yu Tatematsu in the bottom of the third, but failed to add any runs from the fourth inning onward. In the top of the eighth, the fourth pitcher Hikaru Otani pitcher also gave up two runs, resulting in a 2-9 losing streak.
