Itsuki Murabayashi player from Tohoku Rakuten Eagles hit a two-run single to tie the game.

In the top of the seventh, the team was trailing by two runs. With one out, Daisuke Nakashima and YG Yasuda players hit several hits. The next Ryosuke Tatsumi player was retired, but McCuscar's Walk made it two outs bases loaded. In his fourth at-bat, Murabayashi caught a fastball from the opponent's pitcher Shunsuke Nakamori pitcher with the score down 0-1 count, sending the ball to left field.
