Saitama Seibu Lions An-Ko Lin player hit the opening single.

In the bottom of the fourth, with neither team scoring runs, leadoff player Kazunari Ishii created a doble with one out and runners on second. At that point, player An-Ko Lin entered his second at-bat, and count caught the breaking ball of the opposing starter, Kosei Shoji pitcher, from a 1-0 lead. The ball fell in front of right field, allowing runner to score in the meantime.

His batting performance did not improve An-Ko Lin, and he was removed from the roster at the end of May, but after that, he appeared in 15 farm games. He posted a .294 batting average and was recalled on June 30. That single hit in this game was his first hit since his return.

"The one who hit was fork. It was at the tip of the bat, but I was able to return the runner and contribute to the team. I will keep doing my best."
