On July 4th, the 13th round between Tohoku Rakuten Eagles and Hokkaido Nippon-Ham was held at Rakuten Eagles Mobile Saikyo Park Miyagi, with Tohoku Rakuten Eagles win 4-1.

In the bottom of the third, the Tohoku Rakuten Eagles lineup had Walk by Hikaru Ota and Rui Muneyama infield hit, putting runners on first and second with no outs, and then Daisuke Nakashima hit a timely hit to take the lead. He continued to show steady pitch from the 6th inning onward, and although he gave up hit to the leadoff hitter in the top of the 8th, he retired the next batter with double play hits and prevented him from reaching second base. However, in the top of the 9th, with a series of hits and a series of hits, he faced a crisis with runners on first and third, and runs between the infield grounders. With two outs and a runner on second, the closer Shoma Fujihira pitcher took over and closer the next lineup.
