◆ Seibu Lions Pacific League: Seibu vs. Lotte (14th, Belluna Dome)
Before the game against Lotte (at Belluna D), an award ceremony was held for Shuta Tonosaki infielder, who reached his 1,000th career hit in the April 5 game against Rakuten Eagles (at the same venue).
He started the game as the seventh batter and starting line-up baseman. In the second inning, trailing by one run, he patiently endured 11 pitches before hitting doble down the left field line, achieving his 1000th career hit.
Tonosaki joined the Seibu Lions as the third overall pick in the 2014 draft out of Fuji University. He became the 327th player in Japanese professional baseball history to reach this milestone, and for the Seibu Lions, this marked his first time reaching 1,000 career hit since his Sosuke Genda infielder on July 14, 2024, against the Rakuten Eagles (Rakuten Eagles Mobile).
