​Ryoya Kurihara Fukuoka Softbank players achieved 20 Home Run for the first time in two years.

Kurihara started as the cleanup hitter third baseman. In the top of the fourth inning with a one-run lead, he came to bat as leadoff hitter and held on for seven pitches to reach full count. On the eighth pitch, he swung through Hokkaido Nippon-Ham 's third fastball, Shoma Kanemura pitcher, and carried it to the right-center stands.

Reaching 20 home runs is the fastest in both leagues this season. Pacific League pulled far ahead of runner-up Kensuke Kondo, Reyes (15 Home Run).
