On June 17, in the third round of the Farm regular season Seibu Lions Hokkaido Nippon-Ham vs. Saitama The Fighters at Kamagaya Stadium, Hokkaido Nippon-Ham won the batting battle 9-7.

In the bottom of the 1st inning, Hokkaido Nippon-Ham reached base with hit batters Kota Yazawa leadoff, and with one out and runners on second, Yuya Shindo hit his fourth homer and two homers to take the lead. They continued to create chances with consecutive Walk and scored the third goal with a timely infield hit by Ryosuke Myose player.

In the top of the second inning, starter Takayuki Kato pitcher gave up a game-tying three-run homer to An-Ko Lin, but in the bottom of the inning, Yazawa and Shu Yamagata hit consecutive home run to take the lead 6-3. In the bottom of the fourth, they kept up their offense, and Kane Edokpolo 's 13th two-run homer and Akase's timely hit widened the lead.

Although they were cut to two runs midway through the game, Tamon Asari pitcher and Kenta Uehara pitcher relieved the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham to hold on and end their losing streak. At the plate, Yazawa and Akase hit 2-hit 2-RBI, and Kazuki Miyazaki also played a 2-hit game. On pitching, rookie pitcher Jay Ohkawa pitcher earned his second win of the season, throwing 44 pitches in 3 innings with 4 hit 1 strike out 3 runs and 4 inning pitching in 3 innings.

The defeated Saitama Seibu Lions had their starter Masahiro Kawashimo pitcher Walk Home Run hit 4 9 runs (earned runs 8). An-Ko Lin The player showed his determination by hitting two three-run homers.
