On June 2, in the ninth-game game between Farm regular season Saitama Seibu Lions and Yokohama DeNA held in Belluna Dome, Saitama Seibu Lions lost 1-4.

Starting pitcher Yamato Fuji pitcher got off to a brilliant start with 5-struck out through the second inning, but in the top of the third, Shugo Maki hit a two-run homer, giving up the lead. In the top of the sixth, he added another run with a wild pitch, but with a tenacious pitch, he threw 86 pitches, 8 hit 9 strike out 3 runs over 6 innings.

In the bottom of the fourth, the lineup created a good opportunity from Takumi Kuriyama 's doble, and Sowa Yokota 's timely hit brought in a run. However, from the sixth inning onward, he had no hit in front of the opposing bullpen. In the top of the eighth, third pitcher Wingenter pitcher gave up one run, ending the game 1-4. Notably, second-year player Teruki Koga has made his debut this season and scored his first hit.
