Seibu Lions to hold The Lions Summer Festival on July 18th and 19th

Seibu Lions announced on the 1st that they will hold "The Lions Summer Festival 2026 Supported by SUNTORY" on July 18th (Sat) and 19th (Sun).

This is the largest regional festival, held annually since 2022 to utilize the stadium on days when there are no professional baseball games, and to help local residents and those along the railway line feel a sense of familiarity with Belluna Dome and The Lions This year marks its fifth anniversary. A special stage will host hilarious comedy shows, with Tetsu and Tomo and Cool Poco. performing on the 18th (Saturday), and Cool Poco. and Kaminari taking the stadium into a whirlwind of laughter on the following day, the 19th (Sunday).

In addition, the annual Yosakoi dance performance will be held. Over the two days, approximately 40 diverse teams will gather to perform energetic street dances in the plaza in front of Seibu Lions Station and along a special parade route, as well as stage performances and a spectacular grand finale dance featuring all the teams together.

The annual popular festival will feature around 10 stalls, including a giant shooting gallery approximately 50 meters long that can accommodate up to 30 people at once. This year, a booth offering the popular trading card game "Mushijinki" from the 100-yen shop DAISO will be making its debut. There will also be trial sessions and social gatherings for beginners, and participants will receive a card as a gift. Seibu Lions corner, a big hit with children, will offer attractions such as mini trains and train simulators.

Furthermore, attendees can enjoy The Lions themed gourmet food, affectionately known as "Shishimanma," as well as special food stall offerings exclusive to this event, for two days. The American Express Premium® Lounge, which is usually inaccessible on professional baseball game days, will offer a special summer festival buffet, and the The Lions Owners Restaurant will also be open to everyone for these two days.

And this year's grand finale will be the inaugural "LIONS BON-DANCE SHOW," a new kind of Bon Odori dance show that is created with the participation of attendees. In addition to the team's official performers Leo, Raina, and bluelegends, a guest DJ will appear and dance with everyone to bring the festival to a close.

A limited number of water balloons and fans will be distributed to visitors on a first-come, first-served basis each day. Admission to Belluna Dome and ground and use of some stand seats are free on both days. For those who wish to enjoy the whole day at their own leisure, seats behind backstop and group seats will be available as one-day reserved seats, as well as executive seats behind the net with arena viewing seats to enjoy the LIONS BON-DANCE SHOW from the front of the stage. Each of these seats will be on sale sequentially from June 6 (Sat.) at the official ticket site "The Lions Tickets" and other sites.
