The first game between Tohoku Rakuten Eagles and Hokkaido Nippon-Ham will be held at Shinrindori Stadium Izumi starting at 13:00.

The player to watch for Tohoku Rakuten Eagles is YG Yasuda. In the game Oisix on the 21st, he hit his first home run of the season, a solo Home Run temporarily tied the game. He has appeared in 6 games so far, and his batting average is a respectable .316. Last season, he was sidelined by injury and did not make a single appearance in the first team for the first time since turning pro. In the offseason, he changed his registered name from "Yuma Yasuda" to "YG Yasuda". He is looking to make a fresh start and make this season a breakthrough year.

Hokkaido Nippon-Ham 's Yuma Imagawa is in great form with a batting average of .455. In the game against Tokyo Yakult on the 22nd, he came in as a pinch hitter in the bottom of the 9th inning with the score tied and runners on first and second with one out. He hit a timely doble that led his team to walk-off victory. Four of his five hit so far have been extra-base hits, showcasing his power. He hopes to continue making a strong impression and pave his way to the first team.

Seiya Yokoyama had two hit in the previous game and hit his first home run in the exhibition game on the 14th.

The fourth game of Orix Buffaloes vs. Hanshin Tigers will be held at Kyocera Dome Osaka starting at 3 PM.

Orix Buffaloes suffered shutout game loss in their previous game (against Hiroshima on the 22nd). In this game, with expectations high for a strong offense, we want to focus on Seiya Yokoyama. This season, his third year since graduating from high school, he hit his first Home Run in the first team against Tokyo Yakult on the 14th. However, that was his only hit in the preseason games. He failed to produce results with a batting average of .077 and had been sent down to the minor league team.

He had a rough outing in the minor leagues, going hit in 14 consecutive at-bats, but he recorded multiple hit in the previous game. He wants to continue improving his form.
