High expectations are high for high school graduate and fifth-round draft pick Kaito Fujimori to get his first hit in a farm team regular season

At The Fighters Kamagaya Stadium, the second game between Hokkaido Nippon-Ham and Tokyo Yakult will be held starting at 1:00 PM.

The player to watch for Hokkaido Nippon-Ham is rookie catcher Kaito Fujimori, their fifth-round draft pick. He has appeared in three farm team regular season so far and has yet to record hit, but he joined the first team towards the end of spring training. He also appeared in three exhibition games, showing glimpses of his talent with 2 hit in 5 At Bat-bats for a batting average of .400. With Lin joining the team, he will be looking to make his presence felt in his first year out of high school.

Tokumasa Chano has had multiple hits in two consecutive games, and his performance as a fourth-round hit, Yuya Sakurai is also one to watch.

One player to watch for Fukuoka Softbank is developmental player Kyogo Yamashita. He hit his first regular season Home Run in the previous game and has appeared in three farm regular season games since the start of the season, going 1 hit At Bat in each. Last season, Yamashita had a good batting average of .321 in 30 games in the minor leagues. This season, his fourth year since graduating from high school, he will be focusing on the minor leagues and aiming to get closer to being registered as a regular player.
