Rakuten Eagles will be selling "Maeken the Artist" merchandise at Rakuten Eagles Goods Shop Stadium Store and online shop.

At his signing press conference last December, pitcher Kenta Maeda surprised the assembled reporters with T-shirts featuring the team's official mascots, Clutch and Clutchina. Fans expressed a strong desire for the designs to be made into merchandise, and pitcher himself stated on Rakuten Eagles official YouTube channel that "it's my dream to have my drawings made into official team merchandise," a dream that has now come true.

Sales will take place at Rakuten Eagles Goods Shop Stadium Store in conjunction with the pre-opening days held at Rakuten Eagles Mobile Saikyo Park Miyagi on March 21st (Sat) and 22nd (Sun). In addition, pre-orders will be accepted online from 10:00 AM on March 21st (Sat) to 11:59 PM on April 6th (Mon). Furthermore, Rakuten Eagles official YouTube channel is currently showing "Maeken the Artist" creating illustrations for the merchandise.
