Hokkaido Nippon-Ham took the lead in the first inning with two outs and bases loaded from Chusei Mannami 's safety bunt and Naoki Arizono 's hit, and Yuma Imagawa 's timely hit. Furthermore, in the top of the 3rd inning, players Kotaro Kiyomiya and Yushin Shimizu players made two consecutive Home Run, and in the top of the 5th inning, Yu Shimizu hit a timely hit to extend the lead to 6 runs.
