Fukuoka Softbank reached the final day of their third training session. Kensuke Kondo and Taisei Makihara, who have been selected to represent Japan in the 2026 WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC™, took part in a special batting practice session at lunchtime. Both players will be leaving the team for the final time today, as the Samurai Japan national team training camp begins on February 14th. They produced a pleasant sound, suggesting they are in good condition.

Mood pitcher Taiga Kamichatani had a fun conversation with pitcher Shunsuke Iwai in front of the camera during practice today. He also lightened up the atmosphere by showing off his impersonations during the interview. Check out his many distinctive impersonations and talk about baseball.

In the indoor practice facility, Tsuyoshi Wada, an advisor to the team's general headquarters, was watching over the practice. He picked up a dumbbell that was at his feet and began training just like he did when he was still playing, but he looked a little pained as he faced the camera, made an X sign with his hand, and broke into a smile.
