On the first day of the third round of spring training for Fukuoka Softbank, fifth-round draft pick rookie Takahashi Ryukei was hitting long fly balls during batting practice.

Takahashi joined Group A on the 6th, the first day of the second training session. He is the only rookie on the team to be in Group A. He made a successful appeal and will remain in the third training session. Check out the batting of this former working professional rookie.

Tatsuru Yanagimachi, who had the highest on-base percentage and was named to the Best Nine last season, was practicing with a cricket bat. He carefully checked his hitting motion with the flat-faced bat. Will he be able to improve his level even more this season?

pitcher Armenta took the mound for the Live BP. The 21-year-old left-hander joined the team on a development contract in 2022, and this season marks his fifth year in Japan. He was also selected for Mexico's WBC team and faced off against Japan's representative, Ukyo Shuto. He made an appeal for a controlled roster spot, saying he had no hittable balls.

The video also showed pitcher doing core training, and pitcher Taiga Kamichatani singing The Giants' theme song to lighten the mood.
