Today, January 27th (Tuesday), Fukuoka Softbank Koya Fujii We look back at the ironclad relief pitching that pitcher showed in the 2025 season.

Despite a tough start, the 2025 season played a part in the winning strategy

Fujii's first appearance of the season was on March 29th against Chiba Lotte Marines, where he gave up the winning hit in the 10th extra inning, which was a disappointing start for the pitcher. However, he recovered in April, pitching in eight games with ERA of 1.13, and in May he pitched in nine games with ERA of 0.00, leaving an impressive record.

On June 15th, he pitched in the top of the ninth inning against Yokohama DeNA, striking out two strike out retiring three batters to earn his first save of the season. He continued to be a part of the team's winning streak, recording a 14-game struck out as of the end of July. pitcher continued to pitch consistently in August. He was sidelined late in the game due to back pain, but his streak of consecutive strike out continued until September 3rd against Orix Buffaloes.
