Today, December 17 (Wed.), we focus on Nevins, a Saitama Seibu Lions player who has hit 21 Home Run in his first year in Japan!　We look back at his first arch and 21st home run in his first year in Japan.

He is the first foreign player to hit 20 Home Run for the team since Ernesto Mejia.

Nevin had hit his first and second home runs in Japan at the visitor's stadium. His long-awaited first home run appearance at Belluna Dome was on May 10 against Chiba Lotte Marines.

In the top of the 3rd inning, he got three hits in a row with one out bases loaded. He hit a high pitch and hit a long-distance ball into the left center field stands where The Lions fans were waiting for him!　With applause and cheers, Nevin circled the diamond with his right hand raised in the air. As he made his triumphant return to the bench, he was given a big chain necklace around his neck by his teammates, which made him smile even more.

On September 28th, in a game against Fukuoka Softbank, he became the first foreign player on the team to hit 20 Home Run in a season since Ernesto Mejia in 2016. Then, the next day, in a game against Chiba Lotte Marines, in the bottom of the second inning, needing to score the first run, he hit a big ball into the left-field stands! It was his 21st home run of the season, his second in a row.
