On December 7, the second consecutive PERSOL Pacific League TV real event, "PERSOL Pacific League TV Patrea Awards 2025 supported by Pro baseball Fan Stars League," was held at Yebisu Garden Place The Garden Hall.

This event determines the grand prize for each category from among all the videos released on the official YouTube channel of Parsol Pacific League TV this year. Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Seven players from Yukiya Saito pitcher, Tohoku Rakuten Eagles and Daichi Suzuki players, Saitama Seibu Lions and Shuta Tonosaki players, Haruto Yamada pitcher, Chiba Lotte Marines and Koki Yamaguchi players, Orix Buffaloes and Kenya Wakatsuki players, Fukuoka Softbank and Yugo Maeda pitcher appeared and talked about various topics with MCs Kiyotaka Minamihara, Ryota Igarashi and Yuzuka Kikuchi.

Long lines for original goods! Photo spots and thumbnail displays too

The venue displayed thumbnails of memorable YouTube videos from this year, face-in panels, and photo panels of players, and many fans were seen taking commemorative photos even before the show began.

Many fans were seen looking at the thumbnails on display and reminiscing about their memories of this season, saying things like, "Oh, that reminds me, this happened!" and "I was watching this game live!"

Original merchandise was also on sale, with long lines forming at the sales booth right after the doors opened, in search of even more limited-edition items than last year's lineup, including stickers and key chains with thumbnail motifs, and event-exclusive "Towels for Patere."

Meanwhile, the players were spending the time before the show began in a relaxed atmosphere. The youngest player, pitcher Maeda, looked a little nervous, but Pacific League TV Honorary Ambassador Tonosaki lightened the mood with his characteristic cheerfulness, and each of the seven players enjoyed chatting with players from other teams, something they don't usually get to do.

The show finally began. As each member appeared with a "Pa" face-in panel, the audience erupted in cheers.

The project got underway immediately, and while unique awards such as the "Best Actor Award" and "Best Stage Award" were announced one after the other, the "2nd TONOSAKI Award" category was particularly exciting. This award was established to discover a young athlete with a rich sense of expression and a sense of humor who will carry the future of Patere, just like Tonosaki, who serves as Patere's honorary ambassador. Many young athletes with unique personalities, such as Kotaro Kobayashi and Atsuki Muto, were nominated for this award. However, it was Tonosaki himself who won the grand prize!

Tonosaki has provided Pacific League TV with numerous memorable moments this year, from getting hit in the head by a ball that bounced off the net while attempting to catch a foul fly near the net, to comically dodging inside pitches. It seems that Tonosaki has been chosen for the award because no one has yet surpassed his unique character.

After watching these videos, Nanbara praised their efforts, saying, "It's because they work so hard that they are loved by the god of comedy." Hokkaido Nippon-Ham-Ham pitcher Saito then showed his ambition, saying, "I want to be chosen as the 3rd TONOSAKI Award winner!" We'll be keeping an eye on Saito's pitcher next season.

The "Pacific League Awards 2025 supported by Professional baseball Fan Stars League" concluded successfully with the announcement of the grand prize winners in all 10 categories, followed by a raffle at the end where attendees could win signed baseballs from the participating active players. Anticipation is already high for what plays will be nominated next season.
