​Fukuoka Softbank Toshiya Nakamura pitcher delivered a strong relief performance with a runs inning in his first appearance after the transfer.

In the top of the eighth inning, trailing by two runs, he came in as the fourth pitcher and retired Osuna in leadoff pitches with a single pitch. Afterwards, he faced a crisis with two outs and a runner on second in Hit by Pitch and others, but ultimately retired Yasutaka Shiomi with a swinging struck out, finishing his first appearance after the transfer with one runs without a single inning.

pitcher Nakamura, who joined in last offseason's active draft. This season, he appeared in 9 games in the farm team (4 of which were starts), posting a 2-2 record with a ERA 2.02 ERA. He had secured his first promotion to the first team on the 7th of this month.
