​Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Yi-Lei Sun pitcher made his first start of the season, pitching 95 pitches over 6 innings, 2 hit, 1 Walk, 8 strike out without runs. He made his first win in Japan.

Son closer retire all three in order in the first inning, then pitcher a perfect start with a perfect pitch through the fourth inning. In the top of the fifth, he allowed hit and Walk to lead, leaving one out and runners on second and third, but did not allow him to step on home plate. In the top of the sixth, with two outs and a runner on second, he was in trouble again, but retired Keita Sano on a fastball fly out to right field with four pitches.

Last season, he mainly competed in reliever, with six innings being his longest inning. Each time, he marked strike out and achieved his first win in Japan with impressive pitch performances.
