Fukuoka Softbank Isami Nomura player hit home runs in two consecutive at-bats.

In his first at-bat in the bottom of the second inning, Nomura struck out the first pitch of opposing starter Hiroto Saiki pitcher with a single swing. The ball entered the left field stands, marking his first Home Run of the season. Furthermore, in his second at-bat in the bottom of the fourth, he caught the first pitch of second pitcher Tsuyoshi Shiiba pitcher and hit his second solo home run to left field, marking his second consecutive at-bat.

Nomura made his first start since the May 9 game against Saitama Seibu Lions. He responded to his use by hitting aggressively, hitting consecutive home runs.

"I hit it with a straight ball. It's been a while since I last starting line-up, but I decided to go all out and swing boldly. That bold swing led to home run. I'll keep working hard to get involved in scoring from here on."

"The one I hit was slider. Just like in my first at-bat, I think it was because I was able to swing boldly. I'm glad that the home run added points and good results followed. I'll focus on delivering results in my next at-bat."
