On 6 May, the 7th round match between Western League regular season and Fukuoka Softbank Hiroshima was held at Tamahome Stadium Chikugo, and Fukuoka Softbank won 8-1.

Fukuoka Softbank The Yankees scored three runs in the first inning on an RBI single by Tomoya Inoue with two outs and a two-run single by Richard in the third. In the bottom of the second inning, Kota Sato 's RBI doble, Keita Yamamoto 's sacrifice fly and Inoue's RBI single made it 6-0. In the bottom of the sixth, Yamamoto added two more runs on an RBI triple and Inoue hit an RBI single, and the offense continued to unstoppable.

Starting pitcher Yugo Bando pitcher was a tenacious pitch with a runner on his back every time, carving a "0" on the scoreboard until the fourth inning. But in the top of the fifth, with two outs and runners on first and third on two hit, they gave up one run on an RBI single by Kosuke Tanaka. Still, he got through the next two innings with closer minimum runs and continued to close out the sixth inning, exiting the mound on 99 pitches in the eighth inning hit 9 Walk 3 strike out 1 runs.

In the top of the ninth, Miyazaki pitcher retired three batters on just eight pitches closer to close out the game. Fukuoka Softbank combined for 8 hit 8 runs. Inoue was 3 hit 3 RBI and Wataru Sato was 2 hit 1 RBI.
