Hokkaido Nippon-Ham 's starter, Kohei Arihara pitcher, took the lead in the first inning with two outs and bases loaded on Ryosuke Tatsumi with a two-run single by a player. Hokkaido Nippon-Ham, on an eight-game winning streak, saw pitcher Arihara earn his sixth win of the season and pitcher Fukushima record his first professional save. The lineup also functioned well, with three hit fielder’s choice hitting three three-hit pitchers, totaling 11 and 6 runs. Meanwhile, Tohoku Rakuten Eagles Ryota Takinaka pitcher pitched 105 pitches with 9 hit 1 Walk 6 runs in 5.1 innings. The lineup had Daisuke Nakashima, YG Yasuda, and Hiroto Kobukata players with 2 hit, totaling 11 hit, but they failed to score 3 runs and lacked connection.
