Chiba Lotte Marines It was announced today, Saturday, the 22nd, that the final game of the CHIBA LOTTE MARINES CUP 2026 Chiba Prefecture Junior High School Hardball baseball Tournament, supported by Daiyu Home (hereinafter referred to as the “The Marines” Cup 2026), was held at Zozo Marine Stadium, and that the Matsudo Chuo Boys won their first championship.

The “The Marines Cup 2026” brings together junior high school hardball teams from across Chiba Prefecture, transcending the boundaries of their respective leagues. Since the first tournament was held in 2010, it was held for 10 consecutive years through 2019.The tournament was not held in 2020 to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and in 2021, it was canceled after the second round; therefore, this marks the 16th edition of the tournament.

“At the opening ceremony, with so many different teams present, I’m first and foremost happy that we were able to stand at the top of the 56-team field.It was a close match—2 to 1—but I’m glad we were able to win by scoring one more goal in the end. We had all decided to win with the motto ‘baseball.’ I think it was great that we were able to win the championship by leveraging each player’s individual abilities and capitalizing on our team’s strength and overall power, especially since even our bench players are all highly skilled.”
