On August 18, in the 26th round of the Farm regular season vs. Fukuoka Softbank held at Hotto Motto Field Kobe, Orix Buffaloes Orix Buffaloes won convincingly 10-2.

Orix Buffaloes took the lead in the bottom of the second with consecutive RBI hits by Ho Naito, Yosuke Kubota, and Shuna Hori. With one out and runners on second and third, Sho Gibo and Ryoma Ikeda also got RBI hits, and with hitter a fierce offensive, they scored six runs in one go. In the bottom of the fourth, they added another run between grounders.

Starter Kyosuke Saito pitcher started without giving up a single runner through the second inning. In the top of the third, Yoshiyasu Sasakawa gave up two runs on his seventh solo homer, but from the fourth onward, he continued his three-in-three retirement inning, and in the top of the sixth, he recorded three consecutive struck out. He gave up a series of hits in the top of the seventh but got the next hitter out of struck out to leave the mound.

In the bottom of the seventh, Naito scored two runs on a timely hit and an error by an Orix Buffaloes. In the top of the eighth, second pitcher Funa Takaya pitcher brought in a two-out bases loaded crisis with hit and Walk, but the replacement Nobuyoshi Yamada pitcher held runs the lead. The lineup added another run in the bottom of the eighth with a timely hit by Ikeda. In the top of the ninth, Matthew pitcher closed the game, ending the game 10-2.

pitcher Saito achieved a HQS with 7 innings, 98 pitches, 4 hit no walks Hit by Pitch 8 strike out 2 runs. The lineup saw Hori 3 hit 1 RBI and Naito 2 hit 2 RBI, totaling 17 hit and 10 runs to end their losing streak at 3. On the other hand, Fukuoka Softbank saw starting pitcher Jun Maeda pitcher 13 hit 9 runs (earned runs 8) midway through 7 innings. The lineup finished with 5 hit and 2 runs.
