On June 21, in the 18th game of Farm regular season Orix Buffaloes vs. Hanshin Tigers held at Toyonaka Rose The Buffaloes Stadium, Orix Buffaloes lost 2-3.

Orix Buffaloes 's starting pitcher was Kyosuke Saito pitcher. He put the team in trouble with a barrage of hits from the first inning but held runs the limit, and in the top of the second, all three batters retired in order. After that, while runner in Walk, he closer key points, pitching 81 pitches in 6 innings, 2 hit, 3 Walk, 1 strike out, and no runs to leave mound.

In the top of the 8th, third pitcher Ryoga Tomiyama pitcher gave up a solo Home Run to the leadoff hitter, but Ho Naito hit his fifth solo home run in the bottom of the line to tie the game. Then, with two outs and runners on first and third, Jo Endo hit a timely hit to take the lead.

In the top of the ninth, with the score tied 2-1, Shota Abe pitcher hit three consecutive hits to runs two and allowed the lead to take the lead. In the bottom of the ninth, the leadoff runner reached base at Walk, but the next batter was defeated, ending the game with a 2-3 lead. Although starter pitcher Saito pitched well, the reliever lineup failed to maintain their lead. The lineup was limited to just two runs late in the game.
