Chiba Lotte Marines Kazuya Ojima pitcher became the 376th player in history to reach 1,000 innings pitched.

pitcher Kojima took the mound for his 14th game of the season, after a nine-day rest. He retired the first three batters in order in the first inning, and then in the bottom of the second inning, with one out... Kazunari Ishii Despite giving up a home run to the opposing team, he limited the damage to just one runs. In the bottom of the third inning, he allowed hit to the leadoff batter, but stolen base attempt was prevented, keeping runs at 0-0. After leaving the mound, he received a commemorative board and was congratulated by the fans.

pitcher Kojima joined Chiba Lotte Marines in 2018 as the third overall pick in the draft from Waseda University. He has been a key part of the starting rotation, being entrusted with the opening day pitcher three times, and has currently recorded over 140 innings pitched for five consecutive years.
