Fukuoka Softbank Hawks Fukuoka Softbank Hawks Co., Ltd. and the Players’ Association are providing support for areas affected by the Reiwa 8 Kumamoto Earthquake by donating relief funds, setting up donation boxes, and having players call for donations. In addition, donation boxes will be set up at MIZUHO PayPay Dome and at the “MLB café FUKUOKA” on the 3rd floor of “BOSS E・ZO FUKUOKA” next to MIZUHO PayPay Dome from Wednesday, August 5, through Sunday, August 16 (at Mizuho PaPay Dome only during regular season games).At Tama Home Stadium Chikugo, donation boxes will be set up at the entrance gates and on the second-floor concourse (first-base side) from Tuesday, August 11 (a national holiday) through Sunday, August 16.

Furthermore, on Tuesday, August 11 (a national holiday), players will make appeals for donations at MIZUHO PayPay Dome and at Tama Home Stadium Chikugo. At both locations, the manager and several players from Fukuoka Softbank, as well as several players from the visiting team (First Team: Chiba Lotte Marines / Farm Team: Hiroshima), are scheduled to appear.

◇ Orix Buffaloes RIZIN fighter YA-MAN to throw out the first pitch

On Friday, August 14th, RIZIN fighter YA-MAN will throw the ceremonial first pitch at Orix Buffaloes vs. Hokkaido Nippon-Ham game at Kyocera Dome Osaka. YA-MAN is a popular fighter who is active mainly in RIZIN, and he played baseball from elementary school through high school, playing as catcher. He is also scheduled to participate in "ANGEL CHAMPAGNE presents Super RIZIN.5 Naniwa Super Revival Festival" to be held at Kyocera Dome Osaka on Thursday, September 10th.
