With two outs and a runner on first, Ogawa entered his second at-bat and caught a fastball from the opposing starter, Kaima Taira pitcher, with the score tied count-1. This was Ogawa's first home run in four years since 2022 pitcher. This season, in addition to his signature defense and speed, he has also shown strong hitting with a .268 average (pre-game).
