On August 4th, four farm team regular season games will be held, hosted by Pacific League teams.

Developmental draft pick #3, rookie Sota Nakanishi, makes his presence felt.

At Sugimotoshoji Buffaloes Stadium Maishima, the first game between Orix Buffaloes and Oisix Niigata will be held starting at 12:00.

Orix Buffaloes is keeping an eye on developmental draft pick #3, rookie Sota Nakanishi. Since July, he has appeared in 5 games, and in the 2 games where he started, he has responded to the opportunity with 4 hit in 8 at-At Bat, 1 Home Run and 3 RBI. His minor league stats are 12 At Bat 55 hit, 1 Home Run and 3 RBI in 22 games, with a batting average of .218 and an OPS of .591. In the second half of his first year out of high school, the question is whether he can improve his numbers with limited playing opportunities.

Shun Mizutani, currently in the minor leagues for adjustments, is in good batting form.

Hokkaido Nippon-Ham are keeping an eye on Shun Mizutani. In July, he struggled in 11 games with the first team, batting only .156, and was removed from the roster on the 21st. Since then, he has been hitting well in 6 games with the second team, with 9 At Bat 27 hit 2 Home Run, and 5 RBI, for a batting average of .333. He aims to maintain his good form and rejoin the first team as soon as possible.

On the other hand, Fukuoka Softbank 's Ayuma Nishio, in his fourth year as a developmental player, is on a 6-game hit streak. In the game Orix Buffaloes on the 2nd, he had 3 At Bat RBI 3 hit in 5 at-bats, with 2 doble and 1 triple.

Reon Murata hits Home Run

The fourth game between the Saitama Seibu Lions and Hanshin Tigers will be held at Belluna Dome starting at 6 PM.

The Saitama Seibu Lions Lions are keeping an eye on Reon Murata. In the previous game (on the 2nd against Hayate Shizuoka), he came in as a pinch hitter and hit Home Run in about a month since July 4th. This season, he has a batting average of .270, Home Run, and an OPS of .806 in 70 games in the minor leagues. He has gone hit in 4 games in the major leagues, so he will be looking to make a comeback in the second half of the season.
