◇ Hokkaido Nippon-Ham vs. Chiba Lotte Marines, Game 16 (August 2nd, ES CON FIELD)

​Naoki Arizono of Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters hit a go-ahead RBI single.

In the bottom of the second inning, with one out, Kotaro Kiyomiya drew Walk. Then, with two outs and a runner on first, Arizono stepped up to the plate. He was quickly put in a 2-for-1 count, but on the sixth pitch, he connected with breaking ball from opposing pitcher Jackson. The ball flew down the right field line, allowing Kiyomiya to score from first base. This gave his team a crucial opening run.

Arizono was promoted to the first team on July 22nd and is currently on a five-game hit. In the game against Tohoku Rakuten Eagles on July 26th, he had a great performance with 3 hit 2 RBI, including his first professional Home Run.
