On August 1, the 16th round match between Tohoku Rakuten Eagles and Fukuoka Softbank was held at Rakuten Eagles Mobile Saikyo Park Miyagi, with Fukuoka Softbank win 5-0.

win Fukuoka Softbank, Kamichatani pitcher marked three consecutive wins since switching to starting. Yanagida delivered a 3-hit 1 RBI and Masaki 2 hit 2 RBI, totaling 9 hit 5 points to win the first game of the second half.

Meanwhile, Tohoku Rakuten Eagles suffered their fifth loss, with starting pitcher Takahisa Hayakawa pitcher throwing 97 pitches, 1 Walk 3 runs over 6 innings. The lineup struggled with only 1 hit after the 4th inning, but Daisuke Nakashima showed their determination with 3 hit.
