Lotte pitcher Naoya Masuda achieved his 800th career appearance, becoming the 9th player in history to do so. It has been 5,262 days since he made his first appearance in a game against the Rakuten Eagles on March 30, 2012. The veteran, who just achieved his 250th career save as the 5th player in history during the Seibu Lions game (ZOZO) on the 4th, added another accolade to his career.
