Long commented through the team, "I'm in good physical condition and in really great shape, so I'm looking forward to tomorrow myself. I've put together a solid plan and thought things through, so I'll do my best to pitch with everything I've got tomorrow."
Long has appeared in 24 games so far this season, recording a 1-6 record and a 4.75 ERA.
