Hip-hop artist AK-69 took the stage for first baseman pitch.

AK-69, whose father is from Tomakomai, Hokkaido, appeared in uniform and, upon his first appearance at Escon, looked out at the stands and said, "This is an amazing stadium. It's like a stadium overseas, it's exciting."

"Since my name is AK-69, I want to throw at least 69 km/h," he said as he stepped onto mound. With a well-balanced form, he threw a powerful ball that bounce once, and impressively clocked 96 km/h. He smiled at the faster-than-expected speed and responded to the cheers from the stands.
