On July 25, in the 16th round between Orix Buffaloes and Chiba Lotte Marines held in Kyocera Dome Osaka, Orix Buffaloes win 5-3.

In the bottom of the 1st, Orix Buffaloes took the lead with a sacrifice fly by Ryoma Nishikawa with runners on first and third and no outs, then followed by Ryo Ota hitting his sixth two-run homer to give the team a three-run lead. However, starter Jerry pitcher gave up his fifth solo home run to Kyuto Ueda in the top of the second. In the top of the fifth, Kyota Fujiwara gave up a two-run triple, bringing the game back to square one.

Orix Buffaloes came in as relievers from the sixth inning. Second pitchers, Kaito Iriyama pitcher and Soichiro Yamazaki, pitcher, each closed out the inning runs. Then, in the bottom of the seventh, Sho Fukunaga hit his first solo home run to take the lead. In the bottom of the eighth, with one out and a runner on third, they scored again between infield grounders.

In the top of the ninth, Machado pitcher held on to a two-run lead and win Orix Buffaloes. Third pitcher pitcher Yamazaki earned his second win of the season. In the lineup, Ota recorded two hit and two RBI including Home Run, giving Fukunaga his first Home Run of the season.

On the losing side, Chiba Lotte Marines started Koshiro Hiroike pitcher with 83 pitches over 5 innings, 6 hit 1 Walk 3 strike out 3 runs. The batting lineup saw Fujiwara pitch 2 hit 2 RBI and Aito 2 hit, but the relief staff couldn't hold on.
