​Fukuoka Softbank Ryoya Kurihara hit his 25th two-run homer, his first in five games.

He first scored the opening run with a timely hit from his first at-bat in the bottom of the first inning, with one out and runners on first and third, making it his first hit in four games. His second at-bat came in the bottom of the third with one out and a runner on first. He swung through the second pitch of opposing starter Tatsuki Koja pitcher, who was making his first appearance in a month, and the ball soared high and landed in the right-center stands.

Currently, Kurihara is running comfortably at the top Pacific League in Home Run games. In July, he had a slump in nine games with a batting average of .212 (pre-game), but showed signs of recovery in this game.
