◇ Orix Buffaloes vs. Fukuoka Softbank 12th Round (8th, Kyocera Dome Osaka)

Orix Buffaloes Yuma Mune player hit the 7th solo home run to tie the game.

In the bottom of the fourth, trailing by one run, he took off as hitter leadoff and went to bat. Though trailing on two pitches, on the fifth pitch after count 1-2, he caught a breaking ball of opposing starter Yugo Maeda pitcher entering the inside corner. The ball reached the right field stands, bringing the game back to square one.

It was his first home run in 10 games since June 24. In June, he struggled with a .65 At Bat 14 hit and a .215 batting average, but recently he has hit five consecutive games. Will this Home Run serve as a catalyst for a resurgence?

◇ Comment from Player Mune
"The one who hit was fork. It felt so good that I thought he would go the moment he hit. Since he was leading, I wanted to get to base somehow, and I'm glad he got a good result!"
