​Chiba Lotte Marines Toshiya Sato player hit a go-ahead RBI hit.

In the bottom of the third inning, with the score tied, leadoff pitcher Misho Nishikawa reached base on doble. Next, Toshiya Sato was stuck on the fastball of the fourth pitch thrown by the opposing starter Takayuki Kato pitcher, but still advanced to left field. He hit a go-ahead RBI single.

He had also hit a timely hit in the bottom of the 7th in the previous game, marking his second consecutive RBI. He supported the tenacious starting pitcher Tokito Kawamura pitcher.
