On July 5th, the 14th round between Tohoku Rakuten Eagles and Hokkaido Nippon-Ham held at Rakuten Eagles Mobile Saikyo Park Miyagi ended 6-3 with Hokkaido Nippon-Ham win.

Hokkaido Nippon-Ham 's starter, Ren Fukushima pitcher, in the bottom of the 1st inning, Fumiya Kurokawa hit and two Walk created a bases loaded with one out, and Itsuki Murabayashi allowed the lead with a sacrifice fly. In the bottom of the second, a series of hits and Hit by Pitch made it one out again, bases loaded, and Kurokawa's sacrifice fly and Ryosuke Tatsumi 's RBI hit made it two runs. Then, in the top of the sixth, Shindo hit his third solo homer, and in the top of the seventh, Chusei Mannami hit a sacrifice fly to add another run, bringing the score to 6-3.

In the bottom of the 7th, Hiroya Shimamoto pitcher and in the bottom of the 8th, Taisei Yanagawa pitcher retired all three closer batters, and in the bottom of the ninth, Seigi Tanaka pitcher closed out the game with no runs. Hokkaido Nippon-Ham win 6-3, starter pitcher Fukushima struggled with 45 pitches in 2 innings, 4 hit 3 walks, strike out 3 Hit by Pitch 3 runs, and 3 , but 5 pitcher relievers connected with no runs. The lineup scored a total of 10 hit 6 runs, including Shindo hitting 2 hit 1 RBI including Home Run. They ended their losing streak at 2.

The defeated Tohoku Rakuten Eagles saw starter Contreras pitcher throw 73 pitches, 6 hit, 2 walks Hit by Pitch 1 strike out 4 runs over 4 innings, unable to maintain their lead. The lineup featured Tatsumi and YG Yasuda, returning to the field since June 30, each scoring 2 hit but scoring 6 hit 3 runs in total. Their winning streak ended at 2.
