On the 30th, Lotte announced that they had cooperated with a coaching seminar organized by the Kimitsu City Educational Research Association's Physical Education Department, held that same day at the Kimitsu Municipal Minami Koyasu Elementary School Gymnasium, by sending The Marines Baseball Academy Principal Yukihiko Sato and Technical Coach Hanayoshi Yuasa. In addition, former team player Shunsuke Watanabe participated as a guest lecturer.
Practical practical instruction on baseball-based learning was conducted for 23 elementary school teachers in Kimitsu City. Baseball-style learning is physical education aimed at developing basic movements such as hitting, throwing, catching, and running, as well as the ability to cooperate with peers in offense and defense, incorporating elements of baseball and softball.
During the workshop, Principal Sato and Coach Yuasa introduced baseball-style learning methods and key points for lesson planning, incorporating practical demonstrations. Prior to the pitch instruction, Mr. Watanabe demonstrated the throwing motion while actually throwing a ball. His pitch demonstration, reminiscent of his playing days, drew cheers from the participating teachers.
The participants actively engaged in catch and game-based practical exercises, filling the venue with smiles. At the same time, they listened intently to the instruction from Mr. Watanabe and the academy coaches, demonstrating their eagerness to learn.
