In the 8th inning, with the score 4-2, pinch hitter Yanagida led off the inning with hit to left field off Chunichi 's Matsuyama. Pinch hitter Nishikawa Fumi then hit a 153 km/h fastball on the first pitch for a two-run homer to left-center field.
