Lotte's Andre Jackson will start in the game against Seibu Lions on the 14th.

Jackson commented through the team, "I won't do anything particularly different. I believe that if I continue doing what I've always done, focusing on pitching in the same style with minimal inning allowed for long runs, I will naturally be able to contribute to the team's win. It will be first baseman first time pitching at Belluna Dome, but I won't think of it as anything special; I'll just focus on my pitch. Also, it's getting hot, so I need to make sure I stay well-hydrated."

Jackson has pitched 86 2/3 innings in 14 games this season, with a record of 6 wins and 5 losses and ERA of 3.22. His start against Seibu Lions on the 14th will be his second.
