Seibu Lions outfielder An-Ko Lin hit his fourth home run of the season, a two-run shot, for the second consecutive game.
In the first inning, with the score 1-0 and two outs and a runner on first base, the batter perfectly timed Fukushima's fastball. The ball sailed over the right field wall and into bullpen, but the first base umpire raised both hands to call it a foul. Manager Nishiguchi in the third base dugout immediately requested a review. After a replay review, it was determined that the ball had passed inside the right field foul pole, and the call was corrected to home run.
Following his performance in the second game of the series on the 11th, the reliable foreign player delivered another crucial home run.
