Tohoku Rakuten Eagles are keeping an eye on rookie Kyosuke Kaneko their fourth-round pick in the developmental draft. He has been hitting Home Run in the minor leagues since his first year and earned a spot on the main roster on May 15th. He didn't perform well in the major leagues, going hit in two At Bat, but he has made his presence felt in the minor leagues, batting .248 with 10 Home Run, 33 RBI, and an OPS of .773 in 57 games.

On the other hand, Orix Buffaloes 's Ho Naito has recorded RBI in three consecutive games. In addition, he has had multiple hit in the last two games, showing that he is in good form. He will be looking to maintain this good form in order to make an impact on the first team stage.

At Tamahome Stadium Chikugo, the second game between Fukuoka Softbank and Oisix Niigata will be held from 6 PM.

Fukuoka Softbank 's Soma Ishimi has played in 54 games so far, boasting a batting average of .258, second best in the Western Conference. He has also been selected to play in the "NAMICS Fresh All-Star 2026" to be held on July 27th, and it remains to be seen if he will shine at bat in that game as well.

Chiba Lotte Marines 's Yuya Sakurai won the farm team's monthly MVP award in May with a batting average of .316 and made his first appearance in the first team, but his current batting average is .259, and his hitting has slowed down somewhat. Can he start racking up hit again?

On the other hand, Hokkaido Nippon-Ham 's Yuya Gunji had been removed from the active roster due to a batting slump, but he recorded two hit in the game against Hiroshima on the 24th, and his current batting average is .357. He has been in good form, hit in every game he has played in the farm team. He will be looking to add more hit to his tally as he aims to be called up back to the first team.
