Kensuke Kondo player from Fukuoka Softbank hit his 11th solo home run, putting him in the go-ahead game.

He started as the third batter left fielder. In the bottom of the 5th inning with the score tied, with one out, he entered his third at-bat, and on the fifth pitch with a count-2 lead, he caught a floating breaking ball off opposing starter Kotaro Otake pitcher. The ball landed on the home run terrace in right-center field. He succeeded in taking the lead with a single home run in two consecutive matches.
